In 1999, the Engineering Division published the project report "Rainfall Intensity Duration Analysis, Salt Lake County, Utah". The project consisted of a temporal and spatial analysis of rainfall to determine rainfall intensity and duration for engineering and management purposes for return intervals of 2, 10 and 100 years. The report presented rainfall depth maps (isohyetal maps) for the duration and return frequency listed on the right
