Title 17 of the Salt Lake County Code of Ordinances defines the Flood Control Permit Program. Flood Control Permits are intended to serve the purposes of; installation of structures or bridges, storm water discharges, utility line crossings, bank stabilization, or any other activity which occurs within twenty feet (6.1 meters) of the top of the channel bank of any countywide flood control facility.
