Public Works Engineering
Responsible for
- Planning, engineering design, and construction of County roads, highways, bridges, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, drainage, and flood control facilities
- Regulating flood control facilities
- Providing programs designed to reduce and prevent water pollution in the incorporated and unincorporated areas of the County
- Managing interlocal infrastructure and special improvement programs
- Evaluating hydrology, meteorology, and water quality
